Hi, I'm struggling at the moment in the ascending part where I have to beat my Mirror Self, any ideas that could help me beat him would be appreciated.

Lol, after posting this, I decided to try 1 more time and I beat him.

Here's one... Don't suck!!

Jokes aside, here's my suggestions.
- don't bring any healing skills
- bring skills or enchantmens that when used doesn't help the mirror against you
but weakens them in some way

Mirrors are pretty dumb and will use any and everything they can, even if it doesn't really help them in this situation.

I have a w/mo, which uses a crystalline sword. Whats funny about this is I happened to have an eternal bow in my inventory which it *tried* to use against me. Needless to say it took me a whole 10 seconds to beat it. haha

your a el? bring fire storm, meteor and meteor shower and that all

when you will cast those AoE spell on him hes NOT gona move, but when hes gona cast those on you, you can move. Ez.

I opened with meteor shower... and won...

An elementalist that doesn't exit the AoE is dead. I just added more fiery rain upon him, but I'm guessing that was unecessary.

actually if you get close enough he will switch to a melee weapon and charge at you. so that isn't entirely true.

it is the proper tactic though.

I did it with my worse 2 skills like Flare, and unequiped the others. Seems the cpu does not use the spells as frequently. But if I remember correctly, I did died but my Flare spell was still going and when the mirror died like half a sec after it triggered the cutscene.

Well done for beating him, I managed it with my ele/monk last night as well.

For any other elementalists reading this, I will let you know what I did..

This fight took around 20-25 seconds, and I think I took less than 100 damage in total..

This is going to sound odd, but bear with me..it worked.

Take: "Blinding flash" "Ward against Melee" "Fire Storm" "obsidian flame" and nothing else. (Blank skillbar slots)

As soon as the fight begins, he usually opens it with a fire storm..at this point you should blind him then charge into melee distance, out of the AoE.

Then put up your melee ward, start a firestorm, continue to blind him and then pummel him with obsidian flame.

He will not be able to hit you with his sword (Which he seemed to use, instead of skills), will be torn apart by the fire storm and eventually fall to the armour piercing obsidian flames.
